Pro Bono
Lexicon Lawyers maintains a tradition in conducting Pro Bono legal work for those who cannot afford legal services.
Our Pro Bono work includes regular attendance to the ACT Law Society Legal Advice Bureau and the conducting of litigation matters for individuals, partnerships and corporations.
We consider providing Pro Bono legal work as where a person:
-
has applied for and been refused Legal Aid assistance for their legal matters.
-
satisfies us in that he has no means to fund legal services.
-
has a matter that has merit and/or reasonable prospects of success.
-
has a type of matter with public interest.
